Work starts at half past six in the morning at the construction site. Bricklayers arrive, first trucks show up, and the crane driver climbs to his workplace high above the roofs of the city. A new storey is being built up today. Concrete mixer, excavators and dumper trucks are in full swing, and Barney Builder has everything under control.

Kids coming home from school observe the scene in fascination. Preparations for the topping-out ceremony of the new home of the Mümmel family, are well underway.
