The third volume of the much-loved Big and Little Hedgehog series is about children’s desire to be able to do everything that others can do. And about the fact that adults often don’t know how to deal with this. On one hand they don’t want to discourage them, but on the other hand, they also don’t want to allow them to try out things, that they are still too young for.
This book with warm and atmospheric illustrations makes it possible to talk with children about the fact that they still have to learn certain things, and at the same time to encourage them to believe in their own abilities.
